Offences and penalties related to personal use

Possession of cannabis for personal use is prohibited, but receives a police warning if without nuisance. Offences causing public disorder receive 3 months to 1 year in prison.

Notes

2003 law stated that cannabis-related offences are specifically punishable by a police fine if non-problematic and for personal use, but this concept was annulled as unclear by the Constitutional Court.
